When mothers share stories about motherhood, they’ve all kidded about one constant phenomenon: the Interrupting Child. Many times we heard about, experienced or seen a mother attempting to speak on the telephone, have a discussion with a visitor, or even simply utilize the bathroom, just to have an energized kid charge in for attention. Obviously, our kids are out priority, as they grow up, it’s critical for them to learn not to interrupt because that is rude and to respect other individuals. So what’s the most ideal approach to show them to be polite while showing them how important they are? This mother shows us her effective and easy way.

4 Steps to Non-Interrupting Kids

  1. Your kid should place his hand on your shoulder.
  1. Put your hand on top of his hand to show that you know he’s there and needs your attention.
  1. Politely make excuse from your conversation.
  1. Take your kid’s hand and thank him for waiting. Talk about what he needs, and then cheerfully return to your conversation!
