Polk Country Fire Rescue reported on their Facebook page that the crew was “on the way back to the station when Sean Sweat, Firefighter Engineer, saw something unusual on the road. He went to check it immediately and saw a kitten in pain.”
“The kitten was shocked with very visible road burns. It was covered in mud, wet and in need of some love. Sweat cleaned it up in the fire station.”
This was similar like those police officers from New York who saved the kittens left behind in a suitcase. In order to save a dog from a car, a cop broke the car window.
When you love animals, nothing will stop you to protect them.
“I have a weakness for four-legged animals,” Sweat goes ahead to say, having nursed the little cat back to wellbeing and searched for a home to adopt her. Since then, he has named the tiny ball “Trouble,” because she climbs everywhere and cuddles with him at night.
He had many animals already at home, Sweat couldn’t keep Trouble for himself so he dropped her off into the skilled hands of the SPCA.
