Some musicians are staring their career on the street. But this lady, not only did she gather a crowd, but she got the attention of Seal, an English singer-songwriter. He was fascinated to walk up to her and have a serious discussion about her music.
From the video below, when he performed a beautiful rendition of “Stand By Me” with a Canadian street busker, you can tell he has a huge amount of respect for street musicians and what they do. Later, he goes on to ask this street performer, Poopy, if she would like to do a song with him. Seal could tell she had something reggae-like feel to her music and also mentioned Bob Marley’s music.
They blew the crowd away with “I Shot The Sheriff,” with Poppy on guitar and Seal on vocals. They sang the last chorus together, and it was really heartwarming to see such a beautiful combination.
